Internal competition results 2025 - 2026

Gala Day, Tuesday 11th November 2025
We met on Tuesday 11th November to hold our second Club competition this season, for the Gala Day shield.
Sixteen club members played, so the competition was arranged for 4 teams of 4 players.
Each team would play against every other team.
For every game that they won, a team would get 2 points, with 1 point to each team for a draw, and zero for a loss.
After playing all the games, the points were added up to decide which was the winning team overall.
After counting up the points, two of the teams were tied with 4 points each. So the result was decided by taking account of the total number of shots scored in their games. Red team were the winners on this basis, having scored 20 shots, while the Blue team were runners up with 17 shots.

Our location
Saxon Bowlers meet at the Saxon Hall in Raunds. The entrance to the hall is off Thorpe Street just past the council offices and there is plenty of free parking available including disabled spaces.
