Internal competition results 2023 - 2024

Chairman's Day, Tuesday 30th January 2024

On Tuesday, 30th January 2024, 18 club members took part in the Chairman’s Day club competition.

Six teams of three people played in a ‘round robin’ style competition.
The teams were decided at random by pulling coloured tokens out of a bag.
Every team played 5 games in all, with 4 ends in each game, across all three mats.

Teams scored 2 points for a win, 1 point each for a draw, and zero for a loss.

After playing all the games, these points were added up to determine the winning team, runner up, etc.

The results were as follows :

Winners:  Green Team . Kathy Marshall was presented with the trophy by Raunds Town mayor, Cllr Paul Byrne. The other team members were David Hill and Ann Cook

Runners Up:    Blue Team.  Alan Thorn, Pete Stephens & Roger Bond
