Redwell - Home. Match Result

On Thursday 23rd March we played a ‘home’ match v Redwell, the final match of our 2022 / 2023 season.
Both games were very closely contested, and could have gone either way. However, after a slow start in the first half of the game, when the score was 9 -1 against them, Team ‘B’ scored six shots in the 9th end, and scrambled their way back to a 12 - 12 draw.
Team ‘A’ took the lead at the start of their match, and with their Redwell opponents coming back at them in the last six ends just managed to stay far enough in front for a 14 – 11 win.
The combined score for both games means that Saxons won overall,
by 26 to 23.

Our location
Saxon Bowlers meet at the Saxon Hall in Raunds. The entrance to the hall is off Thorpe Street just past the council offices and there is plenty of free parking available including disabled spaces.
