Redwell - Home. Match Result

On Thursday 20th March 2025 Saxons hosted a ‘home’ match at Saxon Hall against Redwell, from Wellingborough. It was a tremendously successful afternoon for both of the Saxon teams.

On mat 1, Saxons ‘A’ team won nine of the sixteen ends, with a massive score of 6 in the eighth, and scores of 2 or 3 in another five ends, which quickly built up a lead that Redwell simply could not beat. Redwell did win six ends, but only by a single shot in five of them, so the end result was a huge win for Saxons ‘A’ by 22 shots to 7

On mat 2, Redwell were only able to win four ends, all of them by only 1 shot, while Saxons ‘B’ took the other twelve ends, steadily building up another big score and winning the game by 22 shots to 4.

Saxons won overall, 44 to 11
